Educational visits are an important part of school life at William Murdoch Primary School and contribute significantly to our pupils’ learning. These off-site visits provide pupils with valuable opportunities to learn through real-life experiences.

Each year group will go on a minimum of three educational visits per academic year to support, extend and enrich the learning that is going on in the classroom. One of these visits, during the year, is to a local place of worship to enhance pupils’ Religious Education.

In addition, workshops are invited into school to support and strengthen classroom learning, providing pupils with engaging and interactive experiences linked to the curriculum.

Parents are always informed of the dates and times of educational visits well in advance so payment can be collected and the trips finalised.
