The Governing Body fulfils its statutory responsibilities by:

  • Holding the Headteacher to account for educational performance

  • Ensuring effective financial management and value for money

Role of Governors

Governors ensure that the school continues to improve by:

  • Monitoring pupil wellbeing, attendance and behaviour

Finance and Resources

  • Overseeing the school budget

  • Ensuring value for money

The Governing Body meets regularly throughout the academic year, with committees meeting termly or as required.
